Sometimes at start up of Engine at least 50% of the time. The Engine Idle speed at start up is 2000 RPM or a little above.
If you turn the ignition off and restart it will be at the normal Idle of around 1500 RPM
I have changed the Idle positioning sensor twice, still have the same problem

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Let me know.

I feel there is a problem with the throttle position sensor, but I can't be sure without a trouble code.

Joe; The Service Engine light is not on. Put tester on and can't get any codes at all. In my original post I said I replaced the Idle positioning sensor twice. I meant I replaced the Throttle positioning twice. It still does the same thing.

If there is no check engine light, you replaced the TPS, then my guess is a vacuum leak (I realize you checked) or a temp sensors, or a fuel pressure issue.

Please bear with me. I'm not there and without the check engine light, it becomes a guessing game until the problem is located.
