Can i drive the car with engine light on (with the diagosis as given..position of pedal censor...) and for how long before i have serious problem.My mechainic is closed until 9/07/2010.

Is this something i can fix on my own? HELP

sounds like the throttle position sensor, and it can be replaced fairly easily... they are located on the throttlebody... once you replace, just have a parts store clear the codes...
