My 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee "pulses" when I step on the brakes at any speed. Do I need to replace the rotors or can they be machined? Does it sound like it could be any thing else?

You would have to measure them and compare that to the minimum allowed thickness, which should be stamped on the rotor. It will take a few mm's to get them trued up, so if the min thickness is already where they are at, you may have to purchase new ones. You may also want to have the rears checked to see if they are warped which can also cause a pulsation in the pedal.
