2001 Jeep Cherokee battery sensor voltage too high

I would like to know how what to do about replacing my battery temperature sensor....where it is....what to look for and if that will take care of code 1493 (Battery sensor voltage too high.

Hi there,

I will have to look up this system on the data base to see where the sensor is, but with what you are reporting i would be thinking that the charge rate of the alternator is to high and boiling the battery causing the high temp reading, i first would get the charge rate checked, start here.
