2000 Jeep Cherokee heater not blowing hot air

sounds like a bad head gasket. does the cooling fan come on and stay on while its overheating?

Yes the fan comes on and stays on when the temp. gauge overheat

sounds like head gasket. to know for sure have it tested for exhaust gases in it.
