It is a Grand Cherokee Limited Edition.

On my OBD it reads P1296 which states "loss of 5 volt feed to map sensor." I replaced the map sensor and that was not it.

When it starts up, it runs sub par in (P)ark, when I go to put it in (R)everse, (D)rive or (N)eutral it idles very low to the point of exhaustion and then shuts off. When this happens, there is a hissing noise right after it shuts off.

I really need help it has been broke down fro two months.

The orange wire that provides the MAP sensor the 5 volts reference voltage is open or short to ground or the computer itself.
