Last summer I tried to pull out a jetski from the lake on sand. I have command trac 4x4 and had it in low gear. After I backed up I put the parking break on and then accidenlty left it on when I put in into drive. The drive shaft twisted and broke into two.
I replaced the drive shaft but now I have terrible vibrations above 70mph but below 70 everything is smooth. Did I do damage to something besides the driveshaft?

There is a short piece that hooks into the transfer case then connects with a uv joint to the main drive shaft. From the drive shaft there is another uv joint that connects to the rear differential.
I took off the front drive shaft and the vibration and loudness is only slightly less at 70mph+.
Anything under 70 is not noticeable.

The noise and vibration is worst when accelerating and is much less when deaccelerating or constant.
I just had new tires put on.

Yes. I didn't have any high speed problems till I broke the driveshaft.
