I was driving and the car died. I had to have it towed. At first it would start, idle really rough, and had a difficult time reving beyond 3500 rpms. I thought that possibly the O2 sensor was giving the high voltage and lean codes cause it went bad or that the fuel pump had failed. Thing is the fuel pump was just replaced about 2 1/2 years ago, probably remanufactured, so I decided to go with replacing the O2 sensor. Well I guess I wouldn't be asking for help if that fixed it. After I replaced it, I noticed that the engine was idling less and less. When I pulled the main fuel line from the fuel rails and turn the ignition on, not turning over the engine, the fuel was pouring out very slowly. It seemed to me that the fuel should have come out much faster. Does this sound like a bad fuel pump? Clogged fuel filter? I am limited on tools and can't really afford to spend much more. Am I heading in the right direction? Could the Evap System leak code indicate something wrong with the fuel pump also?

Hello,

When was the last time the fuel filter was changed?

Also try removing your gas cap and starting the vehicle. Since you are getting a evap code it cold be you gas cap is bad.
