I replaced the fuel filter on my jeep today, and after I replaced it and everything was reconnected I started it up to see if I had done it correctly, and my jeep started fine. I turned it off and let it sit for about 30 mins while i replaced a headlight wiring harness, and whenever I tried to start it again it wouldn't turn over. It sounds like its out of gas. Any suggestions/questions? I need help, please.

Hi there,

best to test for fuel flow, undo the filter and see if you have pump pressure, hook up a hose and place it in a container turn on ignition and see if you get the pump to cycle.

The pump is working fine.

Okay, I thought the fuel filter I put in might have got clogged or something, so i replaced the fuel line that goes from the gas tank to the fuel filter, and I put another fuel filter on. The same thing happened. It ran just fine for an hour or so, and I drove it to work, and then when I came out to start it a couple hours later it wouldn't start and it sounds like there is no gas.

when it wont start you will have to check the fuel pressure, injection pulse and spark, and go get a scan done as well, do this next.
