1995 Jeep Cherokee Not turning over

1995 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 200k miles

I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee and last week I turned the engine off and 2 minutes later it wouldn't crank. I tried to jump it off with the same results... nadda. I pulled all the fuses to check and they were all good. After reinserting all the fuses it started, I think that was just coincidence. Three days later it's doing the same thing. The engine will not turn over at all. Tried starting in neutural with same results. Tried shifting through all gears and rolling just a foot or so then putting it in gear to see if that would help but it doesn't. Any suggestions?

What exactly is it doing now? Cranks and will not start or won't crank at all/nothing get back asap

It will not turn over at all. The security system does not engage so I know that's not the problem. If the battery were low the lights would flash and the security light would come on. This just doesnt turn over at all. The starter nevers spins. It's not the bendix, the starter never moves at all.

Check fuse no.6 and no.7 if okay test the starter relay and park/neutral position switch. Have helper hold key in start position and check for power at the brown wire on the starter solenoid-no power there its one of the above that's causing it-Power present its the starter.

Do you mean the wire above the brown wire? I'm leaving town for a few days and will not be able to do any testing right now. How do you test the neutural safety switch?

I'm talking about the brown small wire at the starter solenoid it should have power when key at start position-

To check the N/P switch disconnect the wiring connector and use a jumper wire if the starter engages the engine the N/P switch is defective. Now if it doesn't crank over test the ignition switch. The starter relay is okay if it cranks over when you jump the P/N switch
