I put some Lucas high performance Heavy Duty sae 80w-90 Gear oil in the gas tank because i mistook it for the Lucas gas treatment product.

What may happen as a result of this mistake and what can I do to prevent or fix what may happen as a result of my actions?

you will need to drop the tank and wash it out. do not start the vehicle to prevent the oil from ruining the injectors, pump and other fuel components.
