1993 Jeep Cherokee wheel fell off, rotor dragged on ground

I had new tires put on this morning and as I was driving home my whole wheel fell off my car. Or I should say it Flew off my car . I was only going about 20 miles an hour but when the wheel came off it took another 60 to 100 feet to stop the car . It was out of control and the rotor was dragging on pavement.
Obviously they did not tighten the lugg nuts when they put my wheel back on.
Do you think I will have rotor damage or axel damage from this???

it should not have damaged the axle, but it may have damaged the rotor. If you have the vehicle returned to the shop that did the work, they need to be held liable for this. If they are a shop that is not equipped to repair the problem, go talk to them and explained what happened. Take the vehicle to a different shop, have it repairedm and send a copy of the bill to the tire shop for re-emburment. Most places have insurance for instances like this, so they should assume responsibility. Glad you were not hurt.
