Transmission problem
1992 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

my transmission just had drip coming from the bottom of the bellhousing where the inspection plates bolts on. so i pulled transmission and replaced the front pump seal or input seal. when i removed the torque converter the old seal and a bushing for the pump came off with it. so went to tranny shop got new bushing. replaced everything. put trans. back in. now i have a steady stream of fluid. its way worse than before. can u help please? also, the shaft part of the torque converter didnt look worn in any spots and the front shaft looked fine. i thought maybe i had wrong seal cause of the parts store asking if ihade overdrive which i dont. i have put three different seals. the last one i matched with model number on transmission. just getting really tired of ttaking trans. in and out.

If the front pump bushing came out, you may have bigger problems than just a leak. That bushing should be driven into the pump and should never just come out with a bushing.Take the trans to a shop and have them look at it, shouldnt be too expensive since you are bringing them the trans
