can i use a one piece gasket? the other option is a four piece gasket two rubber and two cork. i prefer the one piece perm a dry but the gasket connects to the timing cover, and i believe what i call the rear main oil seal. am i right about the rear main seal ? and can i use a one piece gasket as opposed to the four piece?

I would say yes then. I hate using cork gaskets because they always seem to leak. Is the one you have a rubber composit?

It sounds like a good one. Just make sure that you pean the pan (bolt holes) and don't over tighten it.

Let me know if you have other questions.
