The vehicle care manual, p 5.9, says that after I replace the battery a code must be entered in the audio system. The audio systems hanbook makes no mention of such a code. I have the standard XK8 audio system with cd disc changer.

If the code has not been recorded in your owners hand book, you will need to contact the dealer as they will be able to retrieve this code from central records, call them.
