coolant light on

Hello,

You always check the engine coolant cold. Here is a video of our technician checking the coolant level which will give you an idea on how to do yours.

if its full then the coolant level sensor is most likely bad in the reservoir. Here is a guide that will give you an idea how to replace yours which has the sensor built in.

2001 Jaguar XK8 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 80101 miles

I had a coolant leak and replaced the water pump. After replacing the pump and filling the system to the proper level, the Low coolant light stays lite. The coolant system is full but the low coolant light stays on. I replaced the censor but the light stays on. How can I get it to turn off? Thanks
