I have a 2000 Jaguar S Type 4 with 160,000 miles. The engines runs fine when it is cold. After the engines has warmed up, it misses and run rough at lower RPM. If I increase the RPM either by down shifting the transmission or by accellerating, the problems goes away. When I return to cruising RPM, the problem returns. The yellow engine light is on. If I floor the gas pedal and bring up the speed to 75-80 MPH, the light will either blink for a while or go off entirely. When I resume normal speed and RPM, the light comes on again, as does the problem. Any suggestions?

First it needs to be scanned for trouble codes. The check engine light is the PCM's way of telling you there is a problem
