1995 Jaguar XJS Heater Blower Motor

Hi,
I have a blower motor that will not shut off unless I remove the fuse. I understand there is a relay that does this task but it it an integral part of the heater blower motor assembly? Do I need to change the entire assembly. If so, how much time does it take to remove and replace the blower motor?

Hello .. thanks for the donation .. much appreciated I would check if you are getting a constant ground for some reason !! Hope this helps .. let me know BLOWER MOTOR HIGH-SPEED RELAYS When mode switch is set to HIGH, high-speed relays are energized from CCU center connector pin No. 1 (Orange wire), opening a path to ground, allowing full battery voltage to be applied to motor. High-speed relays are located in blower motor assemblies. BLOWER MOTOR HIGH-SPEED RELAYS Removal & Installation Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove driver- and/or passenger-side dash liner. Disconnect vacuum hose from blower motor assembly. Fit a dummy hose to vacuum servo, and apply vacuum to open lower door. Seal off vacuum. Disconnect lower door connecting rod clips, and disconnect rods from lower door. Open door for access, and remove relay from blower assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure. Let me know
