1989 Jaguar XJS after driving 30 min. will not restart for

Hi, I have a 1989 XJS all of a sudden this year (Have had it 3 years) I drive 20 to 30 min. to work, I can drive all long as needed,Get where I need to be, then its time leave, and it will not
start again in say 10 to 15 min. It will not start, It kranks over but will not start. after waiting 1 1/2 hours it starts everytime. What could be causing this, it is not overheating, yes it is very warm out, but it does not indicate overheating. It never just shuts off while driving. Only problem is when trying to restart after a short period of time. I can not stop at drug store on the way home, because it will not restart for 90min.
Please help.

34,000 miles in 20 years, that thing must look great...

but, apparently it's giving you a bit of a headache.

I see two possibilities.

The fuel injectors are leaking and flood the engine after it's shut off.
or
Right after a car is shut off, the engine is still very hot, but no longer has the water flowing through it so some parts of the engine get hotter. This is normally called the "hot soak period". An electrical item is possibly getting too hot and causing the problem.

next time you get home after a drive and have some time to mess with it, try to restart it.
Then pull a spark plug and verify that you have a good spark.
and check to see if the plug is wet with fuel.

Hopefully you discovered the answer to your 'warm start' problem without getting hosed for major repairs or parts....I have the 1991 XJS which HAD the same diagnostic problem. EASY FIX....check the fuel pressure regulators...just pull off and smell for gas...then replace as needed. A few bucks and a few minutes....
