I drove my XJ8 about 10-15 miles last weekend and it ran great. After sitting in my driveway for an hour or so, it acted like it was out of gas when I tried to start it. Sputtering, shaking, trying to rev, then stalling. No smoke, oil OK, water OK, belt OK.
It was low on fuel, but I don't think I came home on fumes. Regardless, I added 2 gallons of gas, no change. I tried gas cap on, gas cap off.
What could cause this? I will need to tow it to get any codes checked, so if there is any possible places to start I can do what I can before that is necessary.
