Timing chain replacement

Here is the instructions on how to change out the timing chain. Start by draining he coolant and disconnecting the battery. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I am fairly confident in replacing the timing chain and tension-er's, but need some guidance in the procedure on how to proceed and the sequence and steps I should take before removing the clamping tool used to lock the camshaft to ensure I do not mess up the timing on removal of the camshaft.
I noted there are guidance on the procedure on this site making references eg. (fig, 303-xxx) etc. where can I find the pictures, schematics relating to the Fig XXX-YYY etc.

A good solution would be to buy a subscription to Mitchell! or Alldata. They both have short term plans (like a month of access for one vehicle for twenty five to thirty dollars) that gets you the same information and images that the independent shops use. That way you can zoom the images and read the text at the same time and if it refers to a different section you have it.

i have taken my jaguar in for it's recommended servicing at each mileage period, including the most recent, the 100,000 mileage servicing.
Two weeks ago, the timing chain broke, and after the car was towed to the dealer (where i bought and did all the servicing), they said it would take about $5,000.00 to repair the timing chain, but they could not tell if anything else was broken. therefore, we might anticipate up to $12,000.00 in repair bills.
isn't the timing chain a recommended change at approximately 80,000 or 100,000 mileage servicing? If i did all the recommended servicing on the car, shouldn't changing the timing chain have been included in one of those recommended services i paid for?

timing belt replacements are recommended because they break when worn !! .. timing chains are NOT a recomended replacement part at servicing
