1999 Jaguar XJ8 Keep it or not

1999 XJ8 L, 70K miles dealer tells me to expect differential rear end, all valve gaskets, timing guides and timing chain,
$975.00 for a trunk lock fix, and on line I'm seeing a transmission and breaks for sure next. What do you think, keep it or dump it. Anything else I shoud be aware of?
