I got a 95 XJ6 which is started to play with me a few weeks ago. If I do not use the A/C, the engine shuts off when I start to accelerate. Not every time does it,but very offen. Therefore I thougt this could be the TPS. I already change that, same thing. When the A/C is on, then it shuts off at idle before I would give some gas. Does this car have overload protection relay? Till yestarday, I didn't have any codes. Now I have the P0727. I changed the crank sensor, fuel pump relay, spurk plags, ignition realy under the hood,(at the fuse box on the right side) and the car still does it when I drive it. But if I just leave it running without A/C and the transmission is in P position, never shuts off. Meaning, when the engine is not loaded. Can you please help me what could be the problem with this car?

Check your idle speed control unit. This should increase the engine rpm as you add more load such as the A/C.
