Anyone help me? Just bought the Jag and the drivers door handle is loose on the outside. I thought it was a simple repair, remove the inside door panels and tighten the handle from the back...............problem is I can't get the panels off. I have the door handle screw out and the lower panel moves but it seems to be still well attached and the top half of the panel I have no clue, can't see how it attaches. APPRECIATE YOUR HELP.
Thank you

Sounds like you are on the right track. Inside door inner pull handle should be a plastic cover. This should snap out with a screwdriver at the bottom. Under this cover should be 2 screws. Take them out and the rest should be plastic snaps around the perimiter. Once you get the panel off, There should be 2-5/16th nuts to tighten the handle. jimbob

Thank you so much. I knew it must be something staight forward. I was worried about damaging the perfect door panel by forcing it off. I am still not sure why the exterior door handle would be loose but hopefully when I get to the securing nuts I will be able to tighten them and solve the problem. THanks again James.

Glad to help. Keeping in mind, the driver's side handle is the one used 80% more than the rest of them. One thing more thing you may want to check. Because of the amount of use, the driver's handle rears more so you have to pull harder to open the door. There is a linkage screw adjustment inside on the handle. You'll see it when you look inside. A replacement handle new is about $350.00. jimbob
