How hard is it to remove the head on the jaguar and do i need any special tools to r and r the head.

I would take a good mechanic 12 to 16 hours to R & R the head with the right tools plus machine shop time. If you have never done it before but, feel you can do it, I recomend buying the best repair manual you can get and follow it step by step. It's a good learning experience. No matter how many heads a mechanic has pulled, they all started with their "first one".
