My '93 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas cuts off and then the warning lights do not come on in ignition position II and the starter does not engage. It has done this driving down the road and headlights cut off as well as everything else. Battery is not a problem. After stopping, the park lights will turn on as will the radio and heater lights which turn off when going to position III but no warning light or starter. Suggestions as to what to check besides the general loose wire situation. Guidance would be much appreciated.
