Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Jaguar XJ6 6 cyl Automatic 90,000 miles
Well the problem i have is that i turn the car on and its start good. Sometimes the car works perfect but other times i will be driving and the car all of a sudden will start to shake and it will turn off! i turn it on and it wiil turn off again! the only way it will stay on is in park or nuetral but if its in reverse or drive i have to give it gas for it to stay on or else it will turn off!
i have put in brand new champion spark plugs, spark plug wires, new gas filter, new air filter, new fuel pump. new dist cap and rotor! any ideas on what it could be?
also my fuel pump use to make a loud crying noise while the car was on and i changed it and even the new one makes the same loud crying noise is that normal?
