Engine Mechanical problem
1987 Jaguar XJ6 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The motor in my XJ6 has been a persistant ploblem is now seized up from not being run. would like info on replacing engine with a chevy 350. have heard it is done often. Any input would be very helpful

I know someone who has done this and told me it was very easy. Advanced Adapters is one place to start so you can the needed adapters and mounts and from there just keep it simple. Meaning if you use carburation and an HEI distributer it will be easy hookup too. If you use injection then the computer for that engine will needed too. I haven't done the swap but if I can help with internet searching and such I will try. Thanks and have a great day.
