Air Conditioning problem
1985 Jaguar XJ6 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

need to find out what the hoses on top of the dash are for(after removal of the dash cover)and where the wires go? Also have a leak under the dash when using the air conditioning.

Do you mean vacuum line? (hoses)
I don't know what wires you mean.
If your carpet gets wet with the a/c on, check the rubber drain lines from the heater box. There should be one on either side of console up next to the firewall.
