My 1985 XJ6 Jaguar has a small auxiallary radiator fan located on the drivers side lower outside corner of the radiator. When i drive the car the fan comes on after a short while then will not shut off until i unhook the battery cable. When i remove power and fan stops it does not restart when i retighten battery cable. Do you know what controls this fan and could i just unhook it and forget it?
