2002 Jaguar X-Type 159000 miles

I am overdue for an inspection. It failed and now I face repairs. Went to several mechanics and some stated that i may need 02 censors or a catalytic converter. I then was told that since I havent had a tune up, that may be the problem. Once the problem is fixed and the light come back on, then it may just be the catalytic converter???? so i get the tune up (186.00) while there to pick up my car anti freeze start pouring from beneath my car. I then was told that i needed a upper gasket hose. It had a hole in it (nothing seemed wrong with it before)!! Took to a different mechanic for this repair. He found a single hose (45.00) and charge me 50.00 to put it on. Drove the car not even for 1/2 hour and it began overheating. Mechanic checked it and said that there was now a slit in part of the hose. I then bought an entire upper gasket hose assembly 125.00 all together i gave him 170.00. well thought the problem was fixed. Drove the car for about 15 min and the check engine light came on again!!!! Im sooooo frustrated because I can only drive with this expired sticker for a few more days. After the inspection failed i was told i could have 14 days to make the necessary repairs to get it re inspected. All i wanna do is get the car INSPECTED!!!! I cannot drive around to be pulled over and get a ticket!!! SOMEONE PLEASE ADVISE ME ON WHAT I CAN DO!!!!

Reply with the DTC's that are being retreived. Not uncommon for a failed catalytic converter.
