2002 Jaguar X-Type air conditioning & heater air vents

I have a climate control unit and the air conditioning & heat only come thru the defrost area. The buttons that indicate mid-level of floor vents do not work. Is this a problem with the climate control unit or is it one of the blend door actuators? (there are 4).

I would be checking the Defrost Vent/Register Blend Door Actuator

Removal Remove the lower vent. Detach the bulb holder. Remove the lower vent. Disconnect the defrost vent/register blend door actuator electrical connector. .Remove the defrost vent/register blend door actuator. Remove the retaining screws. Installation To install, reverse the removal procedure.
