I had my 2007 (208 model) Jaguar S type stolen in December 2008. The insurance company are refusing to settle because they say keys would have to have been used to facilitate the theft. They have checked with Jaguar and no one had tried to obtain replacement keys. As far as they are concerned, that is it.
I have two questions, firstly: Is there anyway someone could get replacement keys without going through a main dealer, thus being able to carry out the theft.
Secondly: Are there ways/devices available to enable such an alarm to be by-passed, again enabling someone to carry out the theft.
I would be grateful for any help
