I just spent over 2200.00 trying to get my car to pass smog. The report said it had gross pollution. So I had Cam cover gasket and other seals replaced, a Catalytic Convertyer, Spark plugs again in the intake manifold for misfire code, camshaft sensor, diagnostic, Breather tube, PCM reflash by dealer, O2 sensors, oil change, breather housing gasket,Intake manifold gasket set etc. I am very perplexed because I still didn't pass the smog. Not to mentioned my enging light has been on since shorlty after I purchased this beast. Took the Private car dealer to court last year and won but they are no longer to be found. Since this recent activity, I am now experiencing a ringing noise when I am driving at times. It has only been two weeks since I had this work done and I have been hearing this noise for about the same time. I have taking the car to have the free Trans gram done and a code came up for the Transmission and the Cat Efficiency, again. I am very concerned about all this, the ringing noise is disturbing. Please help

replace the other catalytic convertor ! .. the ringing could be something left loose during the repairs .. have the repair centre check it out !
