Hi Everyone,
My family has a 96 vdp but we have been having problems with the alarm. Just sitting in the drive way the alarm will go off at random times, it is nothing to do with any sort of stimulus. My dad took it to a mechanic who was is friend and he just took out a couple fuses out. But, this guy half asses everything, and now when the alarm goes off it just doesn't have the horn too but it still has a siren sound. Is there someway to perminantly disable the system by removing some sort of central processing unit. I figure it can't be that hard to do because car theives can do it in seconds. We don't really care about it having an alarm because we live in a nice area, plus its an older car. Any help would be great, i tried looking for wiring guides on the internet but they are just blank in the alarm part. Thanks!!!
