The Jaguar dealer replaced my rear brake pads 25,000 miles ago. Now an independent repair shop says the car is down to 15% of the brake pads and recommends rear brake service: brake fluid, brake cleaner, brake pads-rear, AE metallic ($139.70) and rear brake pads $117.94 plus $192 in labor for a total of $484.69. I'm a single woman that doesn't mind spending the money if it's necessary. Does this sound about right for this brake job?
