1998 XK8 Jaguar Models radio antenna

my radio antenna will not go up or down when i switch the radio on or off. I can hear a clicking noise from the trunk when i switch the car off. do i need to replace the antenna mast or the complete antenna assembly?

I have the same problem? Do I need to replace the entire assembly or just replace the mast?
