The gauge on the dash always reads half full, I have removed the sender and it does seem to have a slight wear mark on the unit, and when the gauge reads empty the car runs out of fuel and stops. It always seems to happen when it has used 35 liters of fuel I have then siphoned the tank which still has 50Ltrs remaining, I have removed the tank and the pump & internal fuel lines seem in good condition(no holes). It is possible the faulty sender gives the dash gauge a false reading and when it reads empty it the car then runs out of fuel. Thanks for your help Dean
