Shuts off when transmission is shifted into reverse?

When I go to start my car, I put my foot on the gas and it goes to the floor; when it does start, I put it in reverse, and it will shut off. I let it roll back then start it again and it will go but really slowly.

If you could upload a short video on what the car is doing, I can help better, but it sounds like the torque converter has fallen apart internally and needs replacement.
