Hello,

Have you rechecked to make sure the timimg belt was lined up.

You can bring the Number 1 Cylinder to the top of the cylinder on the compression stroke, then pull cap off and see if it is pointing the the number 1 tower.

If all look good.

What color is the Spark? It should be a Brite Bluish/White. If it is orange then you have a weak spark.

Thank you for responding. The timing belt is just a rubber belt, we just took it off at the top, does it have to be aligned to something? I know the timing is probably off . Will that cause it not to start? The motor almost sounds like it is froze up but the crank turns fine.

Yes, the timing belt has to be aligned. There are timing marks on the cam sprocket which it the part you could see and took the belt off of. And on the Crank Sprocket which is located at the bottom of the belt.

So how mechanically enclined are you? Cause you will have to remove everything around the timing cover along with the Harmonic Ballancer in order to get it all lined up again.
