is the starter hard to get out? I have jackstands and the tools and have replaced starters in several cars....I got an estimate from my local mechanic of 181 for the starer and 187 for the labor...sounds way high...I called around and can get a new starter for around
$144 to $165...new or rebuilt...I read from some forums to have alot of beer and elbow grease on hand....is thsi true...thanks

if you remove the exhaust pipe with cat. converter then you can get to the starter pretty easily, makes it a lot simpler.
