Hi I recently bought this vehicle and the owner had unfortunately broken the key (I have got the broken key it wasn't a coded type) He had new keys cut which work but don't remote lock. How can I get new remote locking keys, and will I have to get other things done to the vehicle for remote keys to work?

You will first need to contact your local dealer and give them your VIN to see if your vehicle is equipped with keyless entry. If it is, all you need is to purchase the key remote and have the dealer program it. If it is not already equipped with a keyless entry system then you will have to purchase an aftermarket keyless entry system and have it installed and have the key remote (usually comes with system) programmed to the system.
