Hello,

Check Fuses and Relays for the EMC/PCM. Also check for a fuse for the DLC. I cannot find a Diagram with the fuse and relay ID's. So check your owners manual and or the underside of the fuse box lid.

Also what problems are you having that you are trying to do a diagnostic?

Possible causes....

Worn Plugs and Wires - When was your last tune-up?

Coil Pack going Bad.

Vacuum Leaks.

IAC (Idle Air Control) Valve/Motor.

Low Engine Compression.

TPS (Throttle Position Sensor).

Coolant Sensor.

Bad Injector(s)

Bad Injector(s) Harnesses

Have you check the fuses and relays?

What we need to do is communicate with the vehicle. All fuses appear to be good. What suggestions to you have? Procedure?

Ok, Lets check and make sure you have power at the DLC. Check pin #16 it is a Green wire you should have power at all time on theat pin. If not check the #14 (15a) fuse in fuse block behind left kick panel. Also is you Genisis Battery Powered if so are the batteries fairly new? I know some scanner wont read properly with low batteries. Here is the DLC Wiring... I will email it for better reading.
