i own a 99 trooper and dont get me wrong. its a good vehicle but get under it and see if you can replace minor things like starter, altenator, and sensors. On mine, i have to disassemble motor mounts to lift one side of rhe motor up to change the starter/altenator. these are suppose to be easy but not on these models. and 175,000 miles. thats alot for 3.000 dollars. but all in all they are good for rough roads. bad on gas but sure are fun in the woods. hopeyou find what you are looking for.
