1992 Isuzu Trooper 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I have a 1992 Isuzu Amigo and we can not get it to pass smog. The smog man is saying that he can not get it to idle low enough. What can I do to get it to idle lower?

Idle speed is adjustable only for certain models.

What is your engine capacity?
Is it carburetted or fuel injected?
