windshield wipers stopped working

The front wipers in my vehicle, when put on intermediate, will run half way up the window and the stop. They operate fine in low and high speeds, but when I turn them off they stop where they are. I have to actually turn the switch when they are in the down position. The rear wiper does not work at all.

I do not know if the same motor controls both wipers, or not. Someone told me of a single part that worked both sets of wipers was bad, but I cannot remember what that part was.

My back wiper does not work. My Intermittent wipers on the front does not work but the wipers work fine. My ABS is always on. My Low Fuel light comes on after I drive twenty miles on a full tank of gas and the fuel gauge goes to empty and my check engine light goes on and off for no apparent reason. I have been told it all connects to a module in the engine but they cannot find a replacement one because the 1998, 1999 and 2000 models of my vehicle all have different modules. the nearest dealer is one hundred and fifty miles away. Any Ideas?

Hello friends,
On my SUV the rear windshield wiper stopped working all of a sudden one day. It has a "sprayer" that pours windshield wiper fluid okay, but the button that makes the wiper swing and clean will not activate the mechanism that makes the blade swing back and forth, not even a noise.
Where to check first? Please advise. Thanks

how do i get the plastic cover off the inside of the rear tailgate to replace wiper motor?

Driver side windshield wiper does not work. Do they have individual motors for each wiper or is there a linkage in between?'

There is only one motor. You need to remove the cowl at the base of the windshield to access the linkage. It sounds like something has come apart.

My vehicle is having a few problems and I was wondering if they are related. First the shifter is loose and now has a problem getting out of "park". After reading some other post I have been able to get going if I turn the key to ACC and put in neutral. Second the wind shield wipers do not work in intermittent mode and the rear wiper works once in a great while. Third my stereo speakers on the driver side continue to go in and out. My stereo was put in aftermarket. I did buy this truck two years ago so it was used and has 130,000 miles. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Shifter pivot may be loose that would possibly account for locking in "park", or the brake pedal inter lock need adjusting as well. wipers are probably a faulty switch, radio i feel be a loose speaker wire or a bad connection when they fitted the radio.
