Hi my wife's Rodeo is having a problem. Recently she got an oil change. They told her that she needed the oil flushed, but we simply got it changed.

3-4 weeks later her car starts shaking violently and spouting thick white smoke out the exhaust as soon as started. I checked the oil to find that the dipstick was dry.

I filled the oil and now the car seems to be idling/driving fine, except it still spouts thick white smoke from the exhaust. I don't know if the smoke will go away, because I have only turned it only once since then. Should I drive it as usual and assume it's fine now, or should I take it to a mechanic (it's had problems with the Head Gasket for years). If I do have to take it to a mechanic, should I drive it there (5-10 miles) or get it towed?

Thank you for your time!

Get it towed and get it block and pressure tested to rule out a blown headgasket, cracked head or block also could be intake leak
