I wonder if you can help me, I am having problems with my rodeo, I have changed the fuel pump. I still get these problems, on gear change it has to go to 3000 RPM before it changes gear, then when near top gear I put my foot on the accelerator and nothing seems to happen like it lacks power, but then all of a sudden it will rev upto 3500 RPM and surge the vehicle forward. Could this be anything to the gear change sensor, or if you could advise on what to check.
