Hello,
My engine is missing, and I discovered that one of the tube things (sorry, don't know what they are called) that go in the place where the spark plugs go was unplugged. I'm trying to get the plugs changed and everything reconnected, but I can't get a socket to fix inside the cylinder where the plugs are located. I did an internet search and one site said to use a piece of rubber tubing to get the plugs back on, but how to get them out? And how to tighten them down with tubing? I don't understand. Any suggestions?

Hi there,

You can purchase the correct spark plug socket from any auto parts out let, the idea of the tube is to start the plug in the thread with out to much force as the aluminum heads can cross thread easley and will be difficult to repair, with the tube you will have better feel as to the plug screwing in, then you can tighten it with the socket, always start spark plugs by hand.
