1992 Isuzu Rodeo Question Mechanic Ripoff while I was deploy

I needed to know what it should cost ( I am in NC) to have the valve cover gaskets replaced. They charged my "English as a second language- Japanese Wife" 252.48 to replace both side... so the bombs seemed to be dropping on me from North Carolina...is the price fair and if not...what should I do. Thank you for your time.

the valve cover gaskets will cost about 30-40 bucks for the pair

and the job will last about 1 hour to an hour and half. minutes at the most.

i would say for the whole job it would be no more then 200 bucks.

i just did one of these and the job actually paid 1.7 hours to do if its a v6 3.1l.
